Construction
Rock Drilling
We have more than 50 hammer drill rigs of various sizes, suitable for small residential construction projects up through 10,000,000+ cubic yard warehouse and datacenter projects. We bring the right capabilities and the right tools to the job to effectively and efficiently break rock every time.
Quarry &
Mine Drilling
We have more than 10 larger DTH (Down-the-hole) hammer drill rigs (5.5”+ hole diameter) for quarry and mining operations. Additionally, we have inhouse borehole tracking capabilities to ensure accurate tracking of deviation, inclination, and azimuth to meet the highest quarry blasting standards.
Blasting
We have our Federal Explosives License, along with a cadre of experienced blasters who are certified with the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy; the Department of Environmental Protection; and the Department of the State Police office of the Fire Marshal. Each blaster on the Douglas team is an expert at safely and efficiently breaking rock, whether in large quarry operations or complex jobsite terrains.
